As a native Californian, I have a great appreciation for the diverse scenery of the many regions of this great state.  I am especially drawn to the mountains; deserts; seashores; and the flora and fauna found within.  Capturing a moment in time through the lens of my camera is very special.  I love to seek those fleeting moments, whether it be capturing unusual lighting or catching something at the height of action.  One of my strong suits is having the ability to see things from a different point of view.  I am always looking for ways to make my photography unique. 

I first became interested in photography in high school.  I am mainly self-taught but have had the opportunity to take some excellent workshops with Jim Cooluris and have been mentored and inspired by some very special photographers whom I met through the Lancaster Photography Association.   

My photography skills and excitement have grown steadily since turning “digital”.  The learning curve has been greatly accelerated with immediate results and not being concerned about wasting film.  With a computer background, the creative process that Photoshop affords is especially appealing.  My recent endeavor into web design has been a great success.  I have been able to combine my photography and computer skills with my love of graphics and organization.

Photography is my passion.  There is nothing like getting lost in time while composing a scene through my viewfinder and pressing the shutter at the exact right time.
